Back to Carlton BNI

This week I'm back to my BNI chapter, the Carlton branch. It's been nice having a break away - principally getting to sleep in on Thursday mornings, but I'm looking forward to catching back up with everyone.

In case you have never heard of it, BNI (or Business Networking International) is a business networking group, which is great for small businesses, particularly in their early stages. I don't think that I would still be in business without it.

Basically we meet every Thursday morning at 7am (the only bad part of the exercise) for breakfast and networking.  Because we see each other on a weekly basis it becomes a centre of some very strong business friendships and collaborations.

Beyond that the quality of shared knowledge and experience is invaluable, as is the challenge of standing up and talking about your business every week.  Its not very long before you're fluent and comfortable promoting your business.

For small businesses looking for that extra push then I cannot recommend BNI (or similar networking schemes) strongly enough. Similarly, there are very few members below, who are not our customers, or service providers, or haven't collaborated with us at some point. I include all their details below, but recommend that you call me if you are interested in any of their services - the referral system means that your credibility is always on line and getting referred by another member guarantees you get extraordinary service - even above and beyond their normal professional standards.
