Our 5 step process to a website that works

You're probably feeling a bit lost.

Don't worry: one of the things that makes us different from other web designers is that we don't expect you to know exactly what you need before you start. We have a whole process that helps you work that out. You'll end up with a website based on a plan to make your business competitive on the web, not on guesswork.

You need a website that works 24 hours a day for your business. To make that happen, we start by working out where you want your business to go, and how you can use the web to get there. We talk to you about your business, your audience and your competitors.

Together we devise a strategy to help you reach your audience in ways your competitors aren’t, and design a sitemap to give your website a logical, customer-centred structure.

The words on your website are at least as important as the design. Their job is to persuade your potential customers to take the action you want them to take.

It’s up to you to supply content. But unlike most web designers, we don’t throw you in the deep end. We give you plenty of help writing content to attract both customers and search engine traffic. If you’d rather not write it yourself, we even have a professional copywriter in house (at additional cost).

Once your strategy and content are in place, we start working on how your website looks. Waiting until now means you get a site where all the components work together to get your message across, rather than a site that just sits there looking pretty.

Our designs look great, but our top priority is to create a site that’s easy for visitors to use, and gives them a clear, persuasive path to taking the action you want them to take.

All our sites are built around content management systems. This means that you can have control over every bit of content on your website – you can add, delete or edit pages easily and instantly, as often as you like.

We offer free support for the first month after your website goes live, and flexible ongoing support plans so you can access our expertise whenever you need it.
