ICT Achiever Workplace Program

VITTA is committed to building community awareness of the important role ICT (Information Communication Technology) plays in today's constantly evolving world. The ICT Achievers Program inspires young people to see ICT as the key to fulfilling their career aspirations, rewards excellence and creates short term goals for success for those students approaching their senior secondary years.
Websites in Stages: Initially this site will be used primarily as an online application form for interested students. It will provide information on the program and on each of the companies involved. After the application deadline the website will launch into stage 2, displaying the progress of each successful applicant throughout their workplacement with the use of student managed blogs.
2008 is the first year this program has been run with the help of the internet to apply for and publish the information. The design of the site is such that it can be re-used year after year and run entirely by the staff involved in the program.
